Focus of the Congress:
The BFW is dedicated to researching and preserving biodiversity in the forest with great commitment. The protection and promotion of biodiversity in our forests is of great importance in view of climatic changes.

The aim of this congress is to convey and deal with the topic in forest education. The forest education activities are intended to deepen the understanding of biodiversity in the forest and to raise awareness of the sustainable use of our forests.

Key Dates to Remember:
23 February 2026 – Registration for the Congress opens;
1 July 2026 – deadline for registration of participants;
1 July 2026 – deadline for payment of the Congress participation fee;

Participation fee:
The all-inclusive costs are 490 €
The costs for the bed and breakfast in our house are 145 €
The costs for the congress only are 345 €
